The Seequa Computer Corporation: A Founder Of Modern Computing You've Never Heard Of

Help Contribute to the Seequa Archive!

Since compiling information about a nearly forgotten company has proven a real challenge, there are obviously some holes in the preservation project. While I believe that my historical timeline is near complete and as close to accurate as I can get, there may be details that are incorrect or missing entirely. If you worked for Seequa, or know someone that did, you can get in contact with me at matthew@mcjonestech.com and let me know what I missed.

As a college student, trying to purchase these items to digitally preserve (magazines, advertisements, brochures, computers) is difficult due to budget constraints. If you would like to help me continue to preserve these materials, you can always buy me a coffee, or contact me about physical donations of advertising and such. I hate asking for things (physically makes me sick to ask for money) but I do appreciate any help in preserving computational history.

I am missing a couple machines and things for my preservation of this company, including:

  • Seequa XT
  • Seequa PC
  • Seequa 325
  • Seequa Color Chameleon
  • Seequa Chameleon XL, TeleVideo XL, Federal Data Corporation XAT (All the same machine)
  • Seequa Cobra
  • Seequa Exec (Software)
  • Chameleon Expansion Chassis
  • Any other Seequa hardware I may have missed
  • Manuals for any of these systems (I have yet to find a "complete" manual, as my Chameleon Plus manual is missing pages.)

Please use my contact page for any inquiries on these, as I will need to arrange how to get them and probably further details with you.

I truly appreciate all the great feedback I have gotten about my work here, and I will continue to regularly update this project to ensure this piece of history is properly saved!
